D-Link DWL-G122 issues
I have tried several times to install drivers and everything, but it just... doesn't work. No wireless connection shows up under Network Connections, the configuration program doesn't run (just sits there doing nothing, as far as I can tell - I can see it under processes in the task manager, but there's no icon in the system tray or anything, like there's supposed to be), and when I run ipconfig /all, it says "Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media Disconnected".
Other than that, the device seems to be working fine. I suppose it could be broken, but Windows at least recognizes it properly ("D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G122 Wireless USB Adapter(rev.C)"). I've tried downloading drivers again (originally used the ones that came along, but as far as I can tell they're the same ones), no difference. The Wireless Zero Configuration service is running and functioning, but it doesn't seem to matter. So... a bit of help please? Anybody know what could be the problem, and how to fix it? |

Re: D-Link DWL-G122 issues
Uninstall all of the stuff, reboot and reinstall, and see if that changes the symptoms. Also, try terminating the D-Link wireless client and using WZC to configure the connection.
