Wireless card sometimes doesn't work!

I have a Sony VGN-C25 laptop that I use with my Linksys router. I've been having a lot of problems with the internet connection.

Sometimes, the lights on the router stop flashing, and my connection changes from "Local and Internet" to just "Local." Usually, unplugging and replugging the router fixes the problem.

Other times, my browsers just stop showing the page and simply say "Connecting to [website]..." The weird thing is that I can still use Windows Messenger and play online games like Team Fortress 2. Restarting my computer fixes the problem, but it really gets on my nerves.

Can anyone help?

Supply the following information please.

OS running on all affected systems
Make\models of all equipment (routers, network cards, modems).
Wired or wireless?
What wireless encryption is in use?
Browsers being used (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera,...)
What security software is installed?

Open up a command prompt (Start > run > cmd)
Type the following bolded commands and post the results for each affected machine.

ipconfig /all
ping www.google.com
ping 74.125.53.99

Note: To post results of commands, alternate click on the top of the command prompt > edit > select all >
alternate click on the top of the command prompt > edit > copy > paste in a message here. If you are on
a computer that can't connect to the internet then paste the contents in a text document and save it to a
portable media like a flash drive, then use an internet capable machine to post the contents.

OS: Windows Vista (no service pack)
Models: I'm not sure about the wireless card, but according to my manual I have "Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g"
The router is a Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N.
Wired/Wireless: Wireless connection
Encryption: No encryption, but I have a filter for MAC addresses
Browsers: Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer
Security Software: AVG Anti-Virus Free
