I have windows xp; using westall versa link model 327w to connect to internet. My adapter is intel pro/100 ve. My computer is dell dimension 4550.
I keep getting message "network cables disconnected" every 4 seconds. I contacted support they finally determined it was cables. Bought new & did not solve. On exploring, I found another message "adapter link down". No idea what to do. Can someone help? |

I'd be more likely to suspect the router. Have you tried another computer connected to this box?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'd try a second computer on the router first to see if it exhibits the same issues.
