verizon broadband card

I live in the middle of nowhere and don't have broadband so I recently got a verizon air card. My question is that I want to hook it up to a router if possible so that I can also use it with my ps3. I have a laptop and can't get it to support the ethernet to run a cable to the ps3 to use the internet through the laptop. Is it possible to get a router and if not can you tell me how to activate the ethernet through my laptop. Thanks for any assistance in advance..
