Did you input any security key for the wireless network? You also need to lower the transmission rate to 1mbps or 2mbps for it to communicate

I don't know where the idea of lowering the transmit rate comes from , but that's clearly wrong!

Take a look at this page direct from the horse's mouth: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sys...8&action2.y=19

It came from the documentation for my DS. In order for it to connect i need to lower the speed to 1mbps or 2mbps

I've never heard of that, and it makes absolutely no sense. Please point to an on-line reference or post a scan of the page you're talking about. I have to believe you're misreading the suggestion.

Well, you're right as rain! I've never heard of that before, that's pretty surprising! I don't even see any way to limit any of my routers to 1-2mbits, so I guess if I had that antique game console, I'd be in trouble!

Maybe if he configures it for 802.11b only it'll have better luck? I'd also try with no encryption first, then add in the WEP if you get that working.

Re: D-link DSL-G624T cannot connect to Nintendo DSi

I actually just got a new router and now i don't have to adjust the transfer rate anymore to connect so i guess it just depends on what equipment you are using.

It amazes me that anyone would release a piece of hardware that would have that requirement in any environment!

Nothing is perfect but it is a good gaming system.
