Network cable continuously unplugged & plugged in
Have Linksys LNE 100tx V4 network card. Recently have been getting notice that "network cable unplugged' and immediately it will then revert to cable plugged in. The lite on the router stays on but this disrupts any lengthy downloads I try to do. It does not last long enough to really test. I checked the driver and it is the XP supplied one. I've physically plugged and unplugged the network cables and that has not helped. There are a couple laptops wirelessly connected to the same router and they don't have the problem so the cable modem is probably not cutting in and out. Any suggestion on how to test the network card prior to going out and buying a new one?

Re: Network cable continuously unplugged & plugged in
That suggests that the router may be resetting and then reconnecting. If other machines don't have the issue, I'd be looking at trying a different port on the router and a different cable.
