wireless connection issues
Hi ,
I have a Dell Lattitude D400 laptop running win XP professional. I am using Dlink DIR 615 router to connect to my laptop. The laptop has an internal adapter - Intel PRO /wireless LAN 2100 3A mini PCI adapter. It connects fine at 10 Mbps. In order to increase the wireless conection speed , I bought a Dlink WNA 1330 wireless G adapter. I setup the adapter and it works fine one time but when I reboot the computer, the connection is lost and the Dlink adapter dissapears from the network connections. I can see only the Intel adapter. If I see the Dlink adapter, it still doesnot connect through this adapter. It says cannot connect. Tried disabling the intel adapter for the Dlink adapter to work but in vain. Can anyone point me where I have to make changes please. thanks in advance. |
