using a Linksys wireless adapter for a verizon router.

Is this possible? Im not that experienced in computers yet, but i want this Linksys card to pickup the connection from my router that i use for my desktop. Heres what i have-------------------

Verizon fios, Linksys wireless-g notebook adapter 2.4 GHz Model No. WPC54G Ver. 2

Are you trying to install the notebook adapter in the desktop? Please describe in detail what you're trying to do?

im trying to use a wireless card to connect to my verison fios internet that i use for my desktop. sorry i took so long to respond. im not sure if the linksys card and the verison router can work together.

Sure, I have a variety of wireless equipment here, and all of it connects fine to the MI-424WR router.
