What did I do???
Hello People :)
I'll try to be as brief as I can, with my question: I have been using a certain site to dl torrent movies, and was told it was slow and that I needed to open a certain port (I am very much pc illiterate). So I searched a bit to find out what that meant, and what to do about it. I know, a noob should NOT mess with things they don't TOTALLY understand , but changing my IP address sounded so simple...but...after I did that, I could not remember my factory set IP. Now, I have a very poorly internet-able pc (many "Done but with error" webpages), and when I try to ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew (both which the Telus recording tells you to do), I get the error message: Could not flush the DNS resolver cache: Function failed during execution. Should I just try to back up what I can on memory cards and restore to factory settings or what? Please help!!!
