PVC stranded or not?
Hello. I'm trying to advice a company about what type of cabling should be used for networking five offices in one building using cabling running through the dropped ceilings.
The higher-ups are leaning towards PVC stranded because its cheap. What type of cabling do any of you recommend? Thanks a lot! |

You need plenum cable to comply with most fire codes, and I recommend solid, not stranded for in the wall wiring.
