HARDWARE
Motherboard Asus Chipset Nvidia nforce with nVidia Gforce 6150 Audio Realtek Ethernet Realtek/Silan/Intex (not sure but on the box it is Intex on the card Realtek and on the driver Silan) Seagate HDD 80 gb Portable Transend 160 gb AMD 64 X2 DUAL 2.1 Ghz each OS Windows XP Service Pck 2 IRQ list (ISA)0 Sys Timer (ISA)1 Keyboard (ISA)4 COM1 (ISA)6 Floppy{not connected still is shown} (ISA)8 Sys CMOS (ISA)9 ACPI Compliant Sys (ISA)12 Mouse (ISA)13 Num Data processor (ISA)14 Primary IDE channel (PCI)10 Nvidia nForce PCI Sys Management (PCI)11 Other PCI Bridge Device (Dunno what this is nor do i hve d drivers maybe the motherboard LAN CARD which anyway doesnt work) (PCI)18 Silan SC93021 PCI Ethernet Card (PCI)20 UAA Bus driver for audio (PCI)21 NVIDIA MCP61 ATA Contr. (PCI)21 Standard Enhanced PCI to USB controller (PCI)22 NVIDIA Geforce 6150 SE (PCI)23 Stnd OpenHCD USB Host Controller LAN CARD I/O Range E800-E8ff Mem range DFFFFC00-DFFFFCFF From the past one week whenever I connect to the internet I get a BSOD after 15-20 mins depends on the usage i am pretty sure it has something to do with the ethernet card cause if the ethernet card is removed the pc works fine. THE BSOD is as follows(not the fullthing): IRQL LESS OR EQUAL Disable BIOS mem options such as caching or shadowing (any idea how to do this?) TEchnical info ***STOP: 0x40000080(0c849A9840, 0x849OF698, 0x84903F7C, 0x00000002 Another query, My other lan card i.e nFOrce one works but it shows connected even when no cable is insterted.Can anything be done(this is only if there is no solution for the above problem) |

You have corrupted drivers or bad hardware.

Go to Asus and search on your specific model in their support section, they have the drivers for your motherboard.
