Crosscable
i have to connect two win xp pc with crossover cable. I have made crossover cable of length 25 meters and checked with both pc but not working. I have connected one end connector with one scheme and other end with second scheme.

I am assuming the the two schemes you mentioned are TIA568A and TIA568B, and you are using CAT5/6 and not flat satin. You may want to ohm out (continuity check) the cable to verify that the connections actually have a DC path. I have attached a link that may help verify the cabling pinnout.

Note that besides continuity, you MUST make sure that the pairs are matched correctly.
