Re: referbished laptop wireless conn
Would appear that Windows is not detecting any wireless adapter. Go to device manager and look for network adapters. Are there any devices listed?

Re: referbished laptop wireless conn
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc
Please respond to all the following steps.
Let's see this as well. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command. IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Re: referbished laptop wireless conn
Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed.
Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed? Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed? Under Network adapters I found only the following 1. Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection 2. Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter No ?, ! or red X on any of them. I am using a 2WIRE 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter. This is the same type of wireless connection that I am using for my desktop therefore I do not think it is the problem. The laptop does recognize the wireless connection but says limited or no connectivity. Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp. C:\Documents and Settings\luay>ipconfig /all Windows IP Configuration An internal error occurred: A device attached to the system is not functioning. Re: referbished laptop wireless conn
Check your Services are Started on all PCs:
Note: You can check the services in Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. All of these services should be started, and their startup type should be automatic (or perhaps manual).
