Realtek RTL81815 PCI Card
I have just bought a new computer from PCspecialist and it came fitted with a wireless PCI card. I installed it with the CD provided and after a while it got up to full speed - 48/54 Mbps.
However, every now and then, it either just stops working or drops to 1/2 Mbps. Sometimes it makes the whole computer freeze for about 5 secs - and all audio and video stop completely. The driver I have for it is apparently 5.1105.321.2008. That's one I found on the internet rather than the one on the CD which was from 2006. I'm quite sure the old driver had the same problems. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks. |
