Help with BT Voyager 1055

Hi,

We've recently installed the BT vision home hub system and connected to the internet via a BT voyager 1055 wireless adapter. However they seem to only last a matter of days or weeks before they go dud, not even being recognised by any computer. Is there something within the computer that can cause every single one of our wireless adapters to break almost instantly? We've got a Dell Dimension 3100 with windows XP. We've been through 4 or 5 already in just a matter of months.

Thanks for your help
