Very slow wireless
Before i had a problem with a d-link dwa-552 pci adapter that would cause cpu lagg. It turned out that the drivers d-link told me to use were the wrong ones. Well, i'm using these new drivers and the problem is gone, the signal is strong, and all features of wireless internet work fine. However, now the speed has gone way way down. About a day ago, i checked the download speed at www.speedtest.net, and it was at 12 mbps. Now, after solving the problem, i checked again, and its at 217 kbps. Thats about 100 times slower.
Any idea on what's causing this new problem? |

Re: Very slow wireless
Try checking the same computer with a wired connection to the router.
