new network card problem
hi all
i have onboard network card, that sometimes doesnt funkcion properly, so i decided to buy new PCI network card. I disabled onboard card in Bios, uninstalled drivers for onboard card, then installed new card, make settings for new card like IP, DNS just the same as onboard card. The new card seems to funkcion properly, but there is a problem with IP adress, that i used before with onboard card. With that old IP adress i cannot connect. When i change IP address to any other, all is OK. Is there any way to somehow delete entries in system and use my old IP address again ? if I try to remove new card and uninstall new drivers and then install it again, Local Area connection 4 or 6 is created. I cannot see and delete older Local Area Connections, but i dont know if this is causing problem... Any idea ? Thanks before... PS.: i consulted this with my internet provider and he doest filter or block connection for mac adress, so problem is only at my side... Last edited by radhino : 06-14-2008 at 11:12 PM. |
