problem with dlinkDI-624
i have a dlink DI-624 router, so that i can use xbox live (with a wireless reciever connected) in another part of the house. when i first installed it i had no problems but suddenly i cant seem to get it to work, on the network connections screen it says that it cannot identify the problem! the link between my computer and the network has an ! mark on it and it will not allow me to connect to the internet either. when i input the address 192.168.0.1 it will not recognize the router! when the pc is directly connected via the ethernet cable i dont have any problems connecting to the net,any ideas? input would be much appreciated.

Re: problem with dlinkDI-624
Sounds like you need to reconfigure the wireless settings on the router.

Re: problem with dlinkDI-624
Thanks for the intrest, ive been trying to access the wireless settings but when i put in the address 192.168.0.1 into the browser (which is the address for the dlink router) it says it cannot display the page, when i do this the modem is connected to the wan port and the PC is connected to port 1 of the router!! is there another way of accessing the settings or have i the network setup improperly? Much appreciated.

Re: problem with dlinkDI-624
I suggest starting from scratch and getting a wired connection working.
Reset the router to factory defaults by holding the reset button down for 15 seconds with power on.
When the computer is completely booted, let's see this. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Re: problem with dlinkDI-624
Well, you show no connections there. If you followed the instructions completely, something is likely broken, since the wired connection is not connected to anything.
