Wireless network has suddenly disappeared
Hey guys,
I've just bought a new laptop. I want to connect it via wireless to the D-link router in another room of my house. Its got an in-built wireless card (from what I was told). Previously it was working, it detected the network (dlink) and connected to it just fine, however suddenly the network has disappeared and doesn't show up. If I use an ethernet cable to connect to the router, it does work. I'm using windows Xp professional and all drivers are up-to-date. Does anyone have any idea of why this could be happening? |

Re: Wireless network has suddenly disappeared
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc
Please respond to all the following steps.
Let's see this as well. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
