problems connecting vga to tv
Hi,
I am trying to connect my laptop to my tv without any joy. I am using my vga port on my laptop with an s-video cable. When then pressing Fn+F5 I expect the monitor to flick over to the tv but nothing happens at all. I am running XP, have Samsung 50 Plasma and have started to try with 800*600resolution, 60 Hertz at thethe s-video source, I have also looked using the PC option on my tv but this is always greyed out. Any ideas? Many thanks! Maria |

Re: problems connecting vga to tv
Not all laptops have VGA adapters with the built-in S-Video capability. Also, 600x800 is not a valid S-Video resolution, try 480x640.
