Confused Intel Wifi AGN 4965 Error

Hi, i just bought a toshiba laptop 2 weeks ago and i am having problem with this wifi card. Now at the device manager it is showing unknown network controller. I've tried to install the driver provided by toshiba and also download the latest driver from intel but also no luck. can anybody help me?

You need to be using the one from Toshiba, as many times they customize the hardware and their driver. However, if that isn't working, the internal card may be defective.

One thing to try. Remove the laptop battery (obviously unplug it too), and open the little bottom panel that hides the wireless adapter. Make sure the adapter is firmly seated in it's socket.
