USB versus PCI

Hi folks.

I've got a WRT54G at my home, with 2 PCs physically networked to it.

I'll be moving soon, and the PCs will no longer be in the same room as the WRT54G, so I need to enable them for wifi.

I run both Linux and Windows on both machines. I'm wondering what hardware to buy - as far as I know, my options are:
- USB
- PCI
- use the house electrical wiring

I want solid connectivity, at a low price. Which option should I pursue?

If you have any specific hardware products to recommend, that'd be great.

It's a no-brainer for me, I run an Ethernet cable for solid connectivity. It beats any of the options you presented.

As far as power line products, I've had very poor luck with those, so I'd use a PCI wirelss NIC with a hi-gain external antenna.

I second what johnwill said. Go with the PCI network cards for your desktop computers. Ive had better luck working with them in the past as well.
