Help!!!!!
I have a DEll insipron laptop, with Vista operating system.i have been using the internet through my LAN connection since, but 5 days ago i decided to get online only for my internet connection to be showing me limited or no connectivity.I conected my room mates comp to my Lan wire and it work edperfectly.I connected my laptop to another LAN wire and it was still saying limited or no Connectivity. I have checked my device manager and it says my broaband adapter is working properly. Also my intel wireless adaptor is also working properly. There was a 3rd driver i saw on my the device manager,Network adaptor part but i dont know where tht came from because it didnt even have a location unlike the broadband and intel adaptors. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the broadband and INtel adpators, but nothing works. The 3rd strange adaptor, when i uninstalled it, i couldnt find it on the disc that contains all my DRivers that came with my Laptop, so i am kinda suspecting it to be a virus.i was thinkng after uninstalling the driver in question, the internet would start work but it isint. My Lan is showing that it is connected but the internet is showing limited or no connectivity.ALso , before i could view other computers on my network but since this problem started i cant view them any longer.i used the RUN command and this is what came up for u guys who understand these things better

Re: Help!!!!!
Do you use that VPN? If not, I'd uninstall it, because that can affect connectivity.
This IPCONFIG shows a valid connection, is this when it's connected to your connection? If not, that's what we need to see. Try these simple tests. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: Type the following commands, one at a time, followed by the Enter key: IPCONFIG PING <computer_IP_address> PING <default_gateway_address> PING 216.109.112.135 PING yahoo.com Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. <computer_IP_address> - The IP Address of your computer, obtained from the IPCONFIG command above. <default_gateway_address> - The IP address of the Default Gateway, obtained from the IPCONFIG command above. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
