Ethernet Cord (moved from hardware)
Do ethernet cords lose connectivity and have data flow problems if they are knotted and have major kinks in them? basically can ethernet cords go bad...? basically the situation is dealing with 360s and ethernet cords and the chord i use is fine no kinks works perfect and connects to live and the other cord for the other box is knotted bad and has lots of kinks and connects to live but for some reason doesn't allow games to be found in a particular game.

Re: Ethernet Cord (moved from hardware)
Yes, depending on the specific construction of the cable, bending it may damage it. If these are stranded patch cords, they're pretty robust. If they're solid conductor cables, they're pretty fragile.
