Help with connection my Xbox to my laptop.
So I am at a apartment complex and the neighbors are kind enough to let us use there wireless network. What I am trying to get accomplished is using the wireless feature on my laptop that runs Vista and have my Xbox connect to it.
So what I have available are only Ethernet cables and one Linksys Hub/Switch. I am able to to connect my Xbox directly to my laptop with a Ethernet cable and access Xbox live. I simply bridge my connection and I am only able play for short periods of time because I always get disconnected, and its frustrating. Any one have an Idea for a solution????? Do I possibly need a crossover cable, or do my settings with my laptop have to be changed. |

Re: Help with connection my Xbox to my laptop.
If it connects at all, you obviously have a connection. I'd be guessing the quality of the wireless connection is the issue.
