Can't Connect to any networks using D-link.
Hello, today I installed a DIR-655 D-link Router to my computer. And I created a network for my other computer downstairs. When I go to my computer downstairs which uses a D-lnk rangebooster adapter and search for wireless networks in range, my network shows up with full green bars, But when I click "connect" it says "waiting for the network to be ready" for about 3 min. then it just shuts off and my computer still isn't connected...please help.
I have restarted my computer. Both of them. Also I attached a D-Link DWL-G650 wireless card for my Sony laptop, but it when I update the drivers and stuff and restart the computer the little icon with 4or 5 bars appears with a Gray "X" through it and it says it cant find the card or that the card is not connected. When I checked it the card is connected but it doesn't work? Last edited by Fonze : 12-16-2007 at 08:06 PM. |

Re: Can't Connect to any networks using D-link.
Did you try disabling all encryption and connecting, then enable encryption as a separate step?
