Gigabit NAS works as 100 mbps?
Hello,
I have purchased Hammer myshare N1200 2T network drive. Advertised as gigabit and I heard people do get high speeds with it. I use D-Link DIR655 and Intel Gigabit Lan card. Windows shows I am connected at 1.0 Gbps. I am also connected to a cable modem. The highest I have seen transfer rates on this set up is 9.0 Mbps Does any know how to increase speeds and if it's possible to do. Thanks. |

Re: Gigabit NAS works as 100 mbps?
Welcome to the real world. 9mbyte/sec is actually a decent speed from a stand-alone NAS unit.
