Cabling Network Help Please

Hi, I don't know much about this but here it goes.

I want to have a network connection wall socket in room A and room B.

I want a network cable to plug into a computer network card and the other end into the wall socket in room A.

In Room B I want another network cable to plug from the wall socket to my xbox 360 so I can share the internet.

Basically I don't know what the type of cables I need from wall socket A to wall socket B and from the network cards to the wall sockets.

Is this possible and if so can you please give me help so I can buy this stuff :) Thanks in advance

You need straight cables. You'll also need a router if you want to wire multiple Internet connected devices. If you want one cable from the router to service both rooms, you'll need an Ethernet switch to split them out.
