P5K-E antenna extension

Hey there, I've got an Asus P5K-E mobo for my sis, with the onboard wifi and antenna, I need to extend the antenna more than the 6ft. it comes as, I can't find anything on the Asus site on what type of connectors are used or what type of extension I can use, deos anyone know the details and have a reccomendation. Other than that it works well, but the antenna needs to be placed in a better spot and she has a large desk that the cable will not reach through. I've been looking at....http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...nnorswebguidec
but' I'm not sure if that is compatible.

Re: P5K-E antenna extension

Remember, the longer the cable, the more signal loss there is. The reason those cables are kinda' short is a good one.

Re: P5K-E antenna extension

Thanks for the reply Johnwill, yes, I'm aware of that, but the way I have to route the antenna in her desk its just not long enough, will the cable I linked to work ?

Re: P5K-E antenna extension

It appears it's the correct cable.
