Airport card issues
Hi Folks,
I recently bought an airport card and for whatever reason my computer does not see my network. My system consists of 3 machines and looks like this. I have a G4 (OS 10.4.11) as my base computer. It is directly connected to my D-Link router (DIR-615) which is connected to my cable box which is how I access the Internet. A second computer an emachine running xp home edition is connected wirelessly with a D-Link USB adapter (DWA 130). These two computers generally work fine as far as getting online. The third computer is a Mac Dual 867 G4 (OS 10.4.9) which has the Airport card in it. The error message that I get is that basically we can see your Airport card but you are not connected to the Internet. When I search for my network in this machine it does not detect any network. I have the options of "Other" or "Create a New Network." Any suggestions on how to make this last machine see my network so that I can connect to the Internet? Thanks in advance. |
