My System

Which cables?

I'm a bit new to this so please bear with me. I'm not sure of the difference between using Cat5 or Cat 6 cables. I have a 10/100 NIC card, a LinkSys wired router and 15Mbps cable internet service. Does it make any difference what I use? Oh, 3 lines are 5 ft. and 1 is 50 ft..

It will make no difference. I'd use CAT5e at least, since it's no more expensive than the CAT5 stuff. You don't need CAT6 cable for your application, though it won't hurt anything.
