Need Help...

Sorry I didn't know where to make this thread but I've had this problem ongoing for too long.

It's difficult to explain so I'll show pictures too. What happens is I'm typing and out of nowhere it's as if something invisible is in front of whatever I'm typing in because the browswer/program is no longer "highlighted" at the top. When it happens, I notice an icon at the bottom of the screen on the task bar, looks like the command prompt icon. I've figured out this has something to do with my connection or network or something because when I'm not connected to the net I don't have the problem. Also, when I use a certain proxy, the problem goes away, but I need to turn my proxy off for too many things.

My screen looking normal as it should:

My screen as "it" happens, sorry I couldn't get the icon in the screen shot, it goes by so quick, notice the top of the browser, it appears as if something is in front of it but I can't see it:

Please do ask if you have questions...........

Re: Need Help...

Some process is stealing the focus. From the look of your task bar and system tray, you have lots of possibilities. I'd be looking at one of the other programs that are running.

Re: Need Help...

I've searched almost all the processes and what they do including what viruses and such can be hidden using its name. Nothing has popped up yet. This problem occurs when all programs are completely shut down.

Re: Need Help...

Well, I think you need to start by actually terminating a bunch of them and seeing when the problem ceases to occur.
