Wireless Card Malfunction in newer Laptop
Hey guys, i have a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 laptop. I've had it for approximately one year, and just recently, 3-5 weeks ago, my WLAN stopped working, and now my computer doesn't even recognize it as hardware or acknowledge that its even inserted at all. I've been LANing my internet by Cat5 Ethernet cables for the past month and its getting a little annoying.
Any Ideas on how to fix it, or what possibly could be wrong? ![]() Thanks, Sean Nollen |

Re: Wireless Card Malfunction in newer Laptop
With no data on the hardware, it's hard to say.
Make/model of the laptop, AND the wireless card. Start, Run, devmgmt.msc Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed. Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed?
