wireless card trouble

I have an older toshiba laptop satellite 870 and have installed a wireless card in it from linksy. It installed fine but the computer is not recognizing it what do I do? Thanks

If it's "installed fine", the computer would recognize it. Does it show up in Device Manager under Network Controllers?
