wireless dekstop card running on 98

yeah i have everything installed and all those great things but when i try to connect to the internet nothing
98 insisted i use my "modem" so i just uninstalled all those dial-up tools

yet it still wont connect

can anyone help
?

Well, "all those great things" really doesn't cut it when you're trying to diagnose issues in ASCII, I'm afraid we'll need a lot more detail.

I presume you've checked Device Manager, and the card is installed with no errors, right? Can you connect with a wired Ethernet connection to this machine?

Why not start with the make/model of the wireless card, and post this:

Start, Run, COMMAND to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.
