Hi, I want to connect 2+ computers to 1 HDTV. I want to have the TV as a display but also allowing the monitor as a screen at the same time. I dont want to control the mouse or the keyboard with it Just as a display. I know KMV Switch's can only do up to 2 computers i think? I aint to sure.

Re: KMV Switch or Some Thing Like It.
A KVM switch can handle essentially an unlimited amount of displays if the switch allows you to daisy chain the devices. For example, I have an 8-port KVM switch on my servers at our facility... I am not too sure how it would work with an HDTV, but I wanted to clear up the number of computers a KVM switch could handle.

Re: KMV Switch or Some Thing Like It.
If you want to connect using the HDMI interface, I don't know of any KVM that will do that. If you use the VGA interface to the HDTV, you could use a standard KVM to switch that between multiple systems.
