NAT help....or something

So here is the scoop. i got call of duty 3 for 360 but i cant play online because it says i cant connect to host or other players. i THINK its because my internet goes threw a router and my NAT setting are set to strict. Now the problum being i dont no how to change my NAT setting so if enyone could inlighten me i would be gratefull or even have eny other ideas on how i could get it to work thx

that helped alot thx man its just now im not sure how i should fill in the router info like the inbound port, type and private address bar that kinda thing
