speed restriction w/netgear wireless adapter?
hi - i am currently using the netgear WG511t wireless card in my winXP laptop. i have 256k DSL connection but i'm thinking of upgrading to the 7mbps. Is there any restriction w my NIC that would prevent me from seeing any true improvement in surfing speed?
thanks in advance for any help |

You may not get 7mbit, but I'm sure the wireless card can do a lot better than 256kb! :D
I only get 10-11mbit on a "perfect" wireless link from my FiOS account, but I can get the full 15mbit bandwidth on wired connections.
