P5WD2 Network card

hey curious how come everytime my cable modem goes out and i unplug it plug it back in and internet oesnt work so i reset the router and it wont get a network address. but if i goto device manager and goto the ethernet card and disable it then once its disabled go back and enable it then it gets a network address and it works again. is this marvell ethernet card really bad or something? I have never had this issue with any other onboard lan.

Sounds like a faulty network card.
To be sure, go find the latest drivers and load them. If it still does it, I would get another network card.
