Wl 138g won't detect the network
A while ago my wireless card asus WL 138g stopped detecting our wireless network. I now have a cat 5 ethernet cable going to my computer so i know the internet isn't the problem. I also know that the wireless functions are enabled and the SSID is broadcasting because several of my friends have connected with their laptops in my house. The Wl 138g i assume is working because with the program "Network Stumbler" It detects the wirless network and sees it.
My problem is that in windows i cannot detect the network. I have windows wireless zero services running. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have reinstalled the driver and reset the router and restarted the computer but nothing seems to be working. I have: Windows Xp pro Asus wl 138g Router is a SMC Barricade |

Have you tried turning off the Windows wireless client and using the one that came with your wireless adapter?
