i have recently downloaded a spyware program from download.com called free spyware scanner or (something along those lines) and right after it finished scanning my computer started lagging.. so i restarted my computer.. when i restarted my computer it wouldn't get passed the BLUE MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP screen.i cant even get to a username logon screen. PLEASE HELP... have to go to school everyday to do homework because my computer is not working!!! ive already tried safe mode and the same blue microsoft windows screen stays. i really dont know what to do.. i do i need to trouble shoot my computer? and if i do.. how can i do so? any help is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU

If what dai said doesn't fix the problem.. it is most likely a corrupt registry. When windows logo is up there and teh blue bar is going around.. it means it is reading the registry. (kinda)
Anyhow if it doesn't work post back, let me know and i'll walk u through a fix. I don't like typing it all so if i don't need to... id rather not :D -blitze |
