Idea XP Help

Hi
Try Hitting F-8 at start up and try booting in the last known configuration. If that doesn't work try F-8 and try safe mode.

If what dai said doesn't fix the problem.. it is most likely a corrupt registry. When windows logo is up there and teh blue bar is going around.. it means it is reading the registry. (kinda)

Anyhow if it doesn't work post back, let me know and i'll walk u through a fix. I don't like typing it all so if i don't need to... id rather not :D
