outlook express problems

I will say sorry now if this is in the wrong place but could not find the right one.
anyway here is the probs
i uninstalled norton anti virus and put on AVG since then outlook express has gone loopy somtimes it works and some it does not but today i can not get it to work here is the error message

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any thoughts would help

ok I fixed it it was Norton internet security it had disabled itself so i had to uninstall it think i might down load zone alarm unless anyone has any views on a firewall
