Add/Remove query

I recently got my machine back from reformatting and on the set-up disk is a trial version of Office 2007.
I want to uninstall 2007 and then reinstall Office 2003, however two entries in the Add/Remove category refuse to install; (a message pops up reading:
'setup failed to remove the following products...) for one entry.
For the second entry, the background goes grey for a second then back to blue.
How could I uninstall not only these entries but also any files which are associated to them?

Try Revo Uninstaller.
