Access is Denied

I'm attempting to access files on a slave hard drive under the documents and settings of a password-protected user.

When I go to documents and settings/usernamehere it says access is denied. doesn't prompt for a password.

How do I access these files?

nevermind. i fixed it!

for reference:

booted in safe mode (into administrator account), right clicked drive I want to access, properties, security tab, advanced (bottom), owners, check off box at bottom, select another user (an admin user), hit "apply" and it will prompt you. hit "yes".
