[SOLVED] Taskbar problem
im not sure how to explain it exactly but my taskbar shows my windows that i have open in the right corner of the taskbar. once i open more than 2 windows it has an arrow that allows me to scroll through the sets of windows...this is really hard to explain...i think my problem may be due to me trying to install windows 7 but it failed so i think some of the features of windows 7 stayed in xp....please help i know my explanation of this is really bad.. if anyone needs more info just say..id really like a normal taskbar that spreads all my windows out not groups them all on the side...
thanks :) |

Re: Taskbar problem
So new windows open on the right, and then the arrow comes up if you open more than 2?
If this is XP, is it using custom themes to make the taskbar that colour? If so, try the normal taskbar theme. If you wan't Windows 7, you could give the install another go

Re: Taskbar problem
What's on the left side, between the Icons and the Start orb?
Right click the taskbar, click Lock the taskbar so it is not checked. If you see the three rows of dots just to the left as in the screenshot below, click on that and drag to the left.
