Re: Can't get rid of that kernel message blue screen
What kind of error u get when BSOD appears? The error should look like 0x000000xx (where xx is a combination of letters and numbers like 7B or AA for ex.)
The Blue Screen of Death (also known as a stop error, BSoD, bluescreen, or Blue Screen of Doom) is a colloquialism used for the error screen displayed by some operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down to prevent irreversable damage to the system's integrity. It serves to present information for diagnostic purposes that was collected as the operating system issued a bug check. (wikipedia definition). You have a big problem, and I think you need to know the error code from your BSOD to fix the problem. Last edited by I251; 11-04-2009 at 01:31 AM. |
