Defrag Error

I am trying to defrag my hard drive. When I either do an analyze or just defrag, I get an error message saying that it cannot be done because of a corrupt file. What does this mean and how can I fix it? Should I delete the corrupt file; Is there a download I can do to fix it?

Do you know the name of the corrupted file?
We need to know what it is before we can say whether you can delete it or not

Re: Defrag Error

When I click on Defrag, I first get this message: "The connection to the defragmenter engine has been lost. restart defragmentation."

Then after the second time, I get that same message then a pop up error message comes up saying this: "Disk Defragmenter cannot continue prescan because there is a curruption in file; C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\OfflineCache/personal_32#0409"

Do I need to delete the defragmenter file all together and get a new one?
