Grin Cannot Edit registry entry - DWORD

I tried to edit the registry key (DWORD) i edited decimal and/or hexadecimal and exited the regeidt.
But when i run the game again and then open the registry it shows previous value and not my edited value.
Why doesnt it stay to the edited value ? please suggest a remedy.

Thanks

You may need to have the Permissions set for your account to allow such a change.

Re: Cannot Edit registry entry - DWORD

More likely the game is reseting the value to prevent tampering or cheating. A permissions issue would give an immediate error.

'A permissions issue would give an immediate error.'

Most likely a sign of age - I could have (and almost would have) sworn I had experienced problems with modified Dword reversion because of incorrect permissions.

I stand corrected.
