Uninstalled sp3 now xp won't boot

i recently used Windows update to install sp3 (approx. july2009).
i tried to use Photodraw but it would show me the splash screen and then nothing. i tried to reinstall Photodraw, same problem. i read some ppl had problems w/sp3 and it had been working with sp2.
i decided to unistall sp3 using Add/Remove Programs when finished it asked to reboot. clicked OK, and now it keeps rebooting.
it goes to the safe mode/last know/start normal screen and every option just reboots and goes back to that screen.
how do i fix this? thanks.

Boot into Safe Mode and do a System Restore to a time before you installed SP3

i tried to boot into the safe mode option and i tried all other options from that screen. after making a selection it reboots and returns to that option screen. thanks.

If it won't boot into Safe Mode, then you will need to boot from your XP CD and try to perform a Repair or reinstall XP.

thanks for the help.
I already tried the repair. gonna reformat and do a clean install. now in the process of mounting that hd as an external so i can move my files first. thanks.
