BSOD Bad Pool Header error when installing Mozyhome...HELP!

Guys...I have a question regarding a BSOD with a Bad Pool Header error that I'm getting hit with when I'm installing Mozyhome for online back-up. I've been trying to work through their customer support...no luck, keep getting the runaround.

I found a thread here that seemed to touch on what I'm dealing with...some folks mentioned Mozy, etc...but their fixes just don't seem to work for me.

I've run Check Disk (clean), turned off my Windows Firewall and Antivirus software, done a Windows Update...still no luck. The Mozy Log file indicates that it's not able to open the filter device...? When I'm running the install, it seems to get to the point where it starts the application...and wammo...BSOD. I have to restart my pc at last good config, etc...

Any ideas, guys? Thanks!!!

Re: BSOD Bad Pool Header error when installing Mozyhome...HELP!

Yeah...I tried that, but because I'm installing the program for the first time, it's not recognized by the Services app. The install has not "completed"...and I'm not able to configure it, etc. Seems that as soon as the application begins to roll with configuring, etc...the BSOD hits. I can't even Uninstall it since the Install never completes...have to use System Restore to start all over.

Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Are you able to remove mozy via add/remove programs? That might work
